Every time I go to Home Depot I walk through the paint section (even if I’m not buying paint) and snag a few (ok fine…I grab like 30) paint chips. They are so fun to have around for kid crafting as well as those times you need a small piece of colored card stock. I love the sheen to them and hey! Its free paper!
When I was cleaning out my craft stuff I found these paint chips I had laying around. While my oldest was at school I decided to do a little stay-at-home preschool with my youngest.
I just cut up a bunch of different shapes that he could use for eyes, noses and mouths and handed him a glue stick and let him go to town.
He is almost three but surprisingly he put together all of these faces all by himself!
He was so proud. Even though they aren’t pictured, he made three pumpkins, one witch, one mummy, and two frankensteins. I thought about making a little bat one but I couldn’t really figure out how to make it look bat like without using a ton of construction paper. These would also be fun to use google eyes with.
