I can’t wait for Mother’s Day, it’s always such a special day and to celebrate with the Women we love most in our lives! This year we wanted to do something special. So we put together the Ultimate Mother’s Day Brunch! It includes our favorite recipes for the actual brunch (yummy drink ones too!), a free Brunch Invite printable, and our favorite DIY decorations. So let’s get started!
First, the invitation.
We worked on this invite for awhile and well–we LOVE how it turned out and hope you do too! It’s free to download and print (just click the link above the picture above). We recommend printing it on card stock or a photo paper. Here are the little deets you need to know about it first though. In the example you can see that it has an address and all the time details. This is not included on the printable–for the obvious reasons. Here’s how to input your custom details:
-Download the Printable
-Open a Word Document
-Hit the Insert Tab, then add picture and add the Invitation to the word document as a picture.
-Insert a Text Box right below the “JOIN US FOR BRUNCH”
-Type all your details in there!
(To match the font: Use “Lucida Handwriting” and a charcoal color)
Second, the food + drinks of course.
We love waffles in this household, so that was a must for us. Here’s our favorite Waffle Recipe from Betty Crocker. Top them with fruit, butter, syrup, sugar, the works + they’ll be absolutely perfect!
If you don’t love the waffle idea, no big thing–we’ve got you covered, here’s a list of our other favorite Brunch ideas:
Now, let’s talk drinks.
My favorite is by far, is this homemade Strawberry Lemonade recipe. Seriously, you’ll see what I’m talking about after one sip! But of course we have a list of three more favorites:
Third, decorations are everything.
This banner from Oh Happy Day, is absolutely gorgeous + they offer it as a free printable–which is EVEN better! Grab it, here.
Other decoration ideas we think are a must are these:
I don’t know about y’all but this got me so excited for Mother’s Day. I am always down for any reason to throw a party, send out invites, and make cute decorations. Make sure you’re following us on Pinterest as well for even more ideas!
