We’ve been asked lots about what kind of pacifier Blake uses and which is our favorite, so I figured let’s make a post about it. Obviously!
Our favorite pacifier is by far Dr. Browns Prevent pacifiers! Blake loves these, takes right to them and I really believe they’re easier for her to hold in and suck on. We have tried many other pacifiers and most of them fell out after a couple seconds, she would push them out or make a disgusted face. She doesn’t hold back 😉 ha! She really shows her emotions and let’s Mama know what she does and doesn’t like.
Seriously though, these are our go to pacifiers now, or as we call them in our house binkys! I researched them a little bit more so I could tell y’all more about them since I didn’t know tons–just that Blake loves them!
They’re actually made to help lower the pressure in your baby’s mouth–which makes total sense now when I watch her use these ones. They have a patented suction free air channel in them that makes this possible! Here are the main bullet points directly from Dr. Brown’s:
- Suction-Free Air Channel helps reduce suction and palatal pressure
- Soft, suction-release bulb spreads wider as baby sucks for low pressure comfort
- Helps to lower the pressures inside the mouth that can create dental issues, such as cross bites
- Thin-stem design is minimally intrusive on baby’s mouth
So now y’all now! We’re big pacifier fans in this house. It gives Blake comfort when Mama isn’t available and helps her sleep better. So if you ask me, win, win all around!
You can grab these pacifiers literally anywhere, Target, Babies R’ Us, you name it!
Tell us, do y’all use pacifiers with your babes and if so, how do you like them?!
