Y’all I am SO excited to share these pictures with you today! I’ve had this vision in my mind for months now and was counting down the days to show y’all! We teamed up with Amaru Confections here in Boise and created the ultimate Halloween shoot to show off our costumes this year! So without further ado, A Cupcake of a Halloween!
I have no idea what we’re going to do next year, but I do know it’s going to be hard to top this years! Now if you need me, I’ll be chowing down on the best cake and cupcakes in the world for the next week.

THE CUPCAKE COSTUME DIY:
Supplies: Small plastic bucket, glue gun, felt, ric rac, white fabric, poly stuffing, saw, elastic (for headband), styrofoam cone, green pipe cleaner and puff ball for cherry.
Step One: Cut holes in the bucket for their legs, you will have to measure your babes legs to get the right size (see the pictures above where Blake’s legs are coming out) and you will need a small saw for this.
Step Two: Hot glue white fabric around the outside of the bucket, stuff the inside with stuffing (to create a puff) and then close off with hot glue and the white fabric on the inside.
Step Three: Cover the messy glue and fabric on the outside with scalloped white felt (you’ll need to cute the felt this way)
Step Four: Add hearts, sprinkles, all the cute stuff with your felt! Cut out fun shapes, etc.
The Headband: Measure your child’s head for the elastic, sew or glue the ends together to make a headband. Cut the styrofoam cone down to the perfect size and glue to headband. Now glue ric rac around the outside of the cone all the way to the top (to look like icing). Cut out tiny sprinkles out of felt and glue onto the ric rac. Add the puff ball to the top for the cherry and complete with with a tiny green pipe cleaner for the stem!
