We’ve been working on the transition from swaddle to sleep sack for about a week. Id say it’s gone pretty smoothly and I’m totally crediting the Bitta Kidda sleep sack y’all. Blake loves her lovie, it’s a little tiny mini blanket pretty much that’s soft and she just likes to play with it while she falls asleep. The only problem is it’s obviously not super safe for her to sleep with it. Guess what though! Bitta Kidda literally is a lifesaver. It’s a sleep sack, with a ‘lovie’ attached so they’re safe yet functional.
With an eye for both form and function, their products not only solve real problems, they are adorable too. Their LovieSack™ (the sleep sack I’m obsessed with) is a modern day solution to the age old tradition of giving a Lovie to your baby. It provides baby with this important self-soothing mechanism while keeping the crib a safe place, free of loose bedding and objects. Meaning, Mama over here rests easier (as long as Blake isn’t throwing a party that night 😉 ) with a Lovie that can’t be lost in the night inside the crib.
Since switching Blake over to this sleep sack over the traditional one it’s been night and day. Not to mention it’s the cutest thing ever to watch her play with the little lovies while she falls asleep. I could pretty much just stare at her all day no matter what. Any other Mamas with me?! She really has slept better with this though and she puts herself back to sleep when she wakes up. Moral of the story, we will keep it 😉
Plus, they also make a daytime lovie that clips onto a shirt, which is also brilliant if you ask me because I can’t tell you how many times we’ve dropped Blake’s and almost lost it. AND it’s the perfect little size for her tiny hands. Just look:
