I’ve been asked a lot about what kind of camera I use, how I keep it safe and what I use to edit my pictures. So today, I’m covering all that and teaming up with Johansen Camera Bags to do just that! Plus we’re giving away a $100 gift card to their shop at the end!

THE BAG
Protecting my camera and lens is literally my TOP priority when it comes to my pictures. This camera is my third baby (after Blake + Puppy Howie) so keeping it safe it a MUST. Plus, I hate those huge, chunky, ugly camera bags–so when I found Johansen Camera Bags I was instantly IN LOVE. Johansen Camera Bags (AKA: Jo Totes) creates stylish camera bags that can also be used everyday as handbags and trust me I do just that ALL the time. Their bags come in a variety of styles, colors and sizes, you’re sure to find one you’re going to love!

Photography is my passion and taking pics of events in my family life is one way I contribute to my family needs

I’m obsessed with taking pictures mostly of my daughter. I want her to have lots of pictures of her growing up and for me to look back at and remember these moments.
These pictures are amazing. Do you take them all yourself?

Thanks so much for the great giveaway Jess! A few weeks ago, I had my first baby! Following your blog has really inspired me in so many ways to make the most of the days and moments. So naturally, I went and bought a new camera to accompany my new little babe! (I’m a Canon lover too ?). Anyway, capturing photos is so important in my life. Moments are so fleeting, and little ones change so much every day.
Thank you for being such an inspiration! Some of your blog posts about pregnancy, postpartum, and even breastfeeding have really hit home with me. I’d love a new camera bag to accompany my new “Mom Life!”

Would love a camera bag for my Canon Rebel. Pictures play an important part in my life because they allow me to capture pictures of my son as he grows so I can look back and remember how little he once was or his joy from Christmas, going to the zoo, etc. Instagram name is Kelley0385 and checked out the Facebook pages.

Pictures of my little girl laughing and crying are precious to me. And if like to be in some of the pictures, too, so I can remember everything.

I’ve come from a family where pictures have always been an important part of everyday. My mother inisists I send her a picture each day of my now two year old. We have books and books of pictures of her. Not sure what she will do when baby #2 gets here in a few weeks!! (Storage unit??) But honestly going through pictures of us growing up is such a fun time…seeing our old vacations and get togethers. My husbands family is right the opposite and it blows my mind how there are so little photos. We have very few to show our children of his family. There are so many amazing moments that I want to be able to share with loved ones so they will always play an important part in my life.

Pictures are important for me because I love to capture milestones, and even little moments with my kids that I always want to remember. Right now I can hardly stand to look back at pictures of them when they were born because I’d cry for a week. They grow so fast! I also love to print and send pictures to their great-grandma’s. They love getting pictures and seeing how big the kids have gotten!

I would love to get one of these bags! My current camera protection situation is very ugly. I found this giveaway on your Facebook today, so fun! Photos are important to me because they are freezing a memory. Most of my family photos were lost in a flood so I treasure the few I do have. I am ridiculous about my digital images now. They are saved at least 3 place and I print the good ones… Just in case! I checked you both out on Facebook today and am following both on Instagram.

Photography started out as a job for me, but since I’ve had kids, it’s become my way of documenting history for our family. I love being able to look back through and see these moments that would otherwise have faded from our memories, and I love that because of digital cameras (and the low cost of GB storage) we are able to document so much more than our parents and grandparents before us!

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Whether it’s my kiddos in the bath hair made up like the boy in little rascals or the family picture that we gave to our family when we announced our family was growing. They all tell their own little story. I am not a photographer but my cousin is & she takes all of our families pictures. I would love to gift this to her for all her amazing work & time out of her busy life to capture moments of our family.

I’ve had a nice camera for years but it wasn’t until my daughter was born that I started really learning how to use it. I love documenting every milestone she hits!

Pictures hold memories. I love looking at old photos and how it takes you right back to the moment. Something that I would grab if my house was on fire for sure, you can’t replace photos
Sarah Hayes says
Pictures are incredibly important because I don’t have a good memory so having nice pictures are essential to me remembering all that I can of the fun my daughter and I have. Also, I know Im only having one child so I want to soak up every second that I can and pictures really help me do that.
Sarah Hayes says
Checked out both pages on FB!This would be so great to win for my sister who takes all our pictures and deserves a nice bag
