Recently I’ve developed an addiction. One I probably should attend a meeting for, but hey? I’m not going to. It’s fine. The addiction: WALLPAPER. Seriously, give me all the wallpaper. So naturally I’ve been wallpapering every wall I can get my hands on. The only problem is when I do it, it’s not the prettiest…so I decided it was probably best to hire someone for Blake’s room project. So I saved all my pennies and did just that and I couldn’t be happier. Now, if you have the time and patience–you could definitely hang it yourself–Mama over just ain’t got time or patience for it. Then I put my Dad and the husband to work to acheive the bottom half, the beadboard! The beadboard cost me a total of $104 — so I would say pretty dang reasonable. My Dad and Marcus hung it with liquid nails, a nail gun and then I painted it white. It took them 3 hours and really wasn’t a difficult project! Any of your local hardware stores can help you find all the supplies you need for it. The wallpaper is an Anna French from Thibaut Design and I couldn’t be more obsessed with it. If we ever sell this home the person who gets this room will be the luckiest as far as I’m concerned. 😉
Okay, now let’s just look at how it turned out, okay?!
It’s still a work in progress and we have a few more items to hang on the wall, but I wanted to give y’all a peek and share the wallpaper since it’s gorgeous and SO many of y’all asked about it!
You can shop that exact wallpaper, here.
