In case you weren’t fully aware, I’m all about a good dance party. Especially when I can get Blake and the husband involved as well. I’m talkin’ full on, blasting music, cooking dinner, dance party. If you’ve seen my Insta-stories you know exactly what I’m talking about. There are absolutely no limits to these dance parties and honestly, they’re what keep me semi sane. Plus if you’ve ever seen Blake dance you know it’s the cutest friggin’ thing in the entire world. However, she’s more into her Dad’s music and well–that ain’t gonna fly by me. So naturally, I’ve been playing all the classics for her as much as possible. You know, Backstreet Boys, Britney, Spice Girls, Beyonce all the good stuff. 😉 She will love it, soon, y’all, very soon.
On a totally serious note though, well as serious as you can get when talking about kitchen dance parties, you need to purchase a Google Home. It’s pretty much a I know everything, built in dance party, here’s the weather kind of best friend. Marcus is obsessed with it, I’m obsessed with it, Blake points to it and says “music” (music) and well, the dogs–they’re a work in progress. So far they just bark because they think someone is in the house, but you know what, patience people, patience. Now, I secretly love it because well…bless my husband’s soul, but he thinks he knows well, everything. But does he?! Eh, maybe–but Google Home knows more, so HA. Next time we’re in a heated debate, I’ll win that argument dang it because my bestie over here (AKA: Google Home) will sneak me the real answer. Now, that’s true love folks. 😉 Plus, then Marcus will be really impressed because I actually know everything and well, it’s really just a win, win all around.
It’s literally the perfect holiday gift though, so if I were you I would just run on over right now and purchase one. Plus you get 6 free months of YouTube Red when you purchase it and I know you’re all about that commercial free, let me close the app while listening to music, life. And if you’re not, just get with it because that’s where it is y’all. Okay, but seriously it does a lot more than just play music and tell you the weather. You can program it to connect to your home and control the lights, you can ask it pretty much any question (including, tell me a joke) and it can even turn on your favorite show for you through Chromecast. Like I said–quality best friend in the perfect little device and Google home will never ditch you for your arch enemy’s party. 😉 Honestly, it makes your life a heck of a lot easier and a whole lot more fun.
Go get your shop on, here, grab one for a gift and one for yourself and then get ready for the ultimate dance party/new best friend.

I’ve been dying to hear more about Google Home and see a review — I was thinking it would make a good gift for my husband. I think it’ll be under the tree for him 🙂
