WE ARE DONE! A year later of living in our home and our kitchen is finally done. I’m not going to lie, it took a whole lot of trial and error on figuring out what exactly I liked and didn’t, but finally–we’re here and I’m even more obsessed than ever with how it turned out. We will went gold (or if you want to get really specific, champagne brass) finished (ie; faucet, cabinet pulls, etc.) and I love how it turned out. Marcus was super skeptical about the gold, but now that it’s done, he said, “Okay, honey that looks really good!” — see babe, you’ve got to trust me. 😉 So here’s the lowdown on everything and then I linked what I could below so that you could shop pieces directly from the post.
Our floor is from Wayfair and it’s the Mannington Restoration Wide Planked flooring. I LOVE it so much. We went with thicker than normal planks and it looks killer. Plus my Dad (who installed floors for 40 years) is seriously my superhero and installed it all and it’s beautiful and he’s the best. I owe him all the Freddy’s ice cream shakes now 😉 Our backsplash it just your normal, white subway tile and then we painted the walls with Sherwin William “Alabaster” (such a good, creamy white). The cabinet pulls are from Baldwin Hardware and they’re the “Palm Springs” pulls in polished brass. They’re honestly the best made pulls I’ve ever seen. They’re solid and well, gorgeous. Now, let’s just talk about my faucet. In case you couldn’t already tell by my Insta-stories, I’m OBSESSED. It’s from Delta Faucet and it’s the Trinsic Single Handle Pull down in Champagne Bronze. Oh my gosh, it’s friggin’ beautiful y’all. Like, you know you’re adulting and it’s this good when you’re this excited about a faucet. Now, finally, let’s chat lighting. We had silver pendant lights before, which I liked–but they didn’t quite match our final kitchen style. So I switched em’ out for these from Wayfair and they totally completed the kitchen. Long story short, I love my kitchen SO much. A shout out to my Dad and Marcus for making my little kitchen dreams come true. 😉 Shop the rest of the look below the pictures.
