I’m several weeks in of using the 8Fit App and as I said, I’m back with another update. It’s been seriously game changing in my fitness routine. I’ve actually stuck to a fitness routine for longer than a couple of days and if you know me at all, you know that’s a big friggin’ deal. It’s been really great for my busy schedule, even when I’ve traveled I’m still able to work out because all of the work outs are catered to happen at “home” (or anywhere). It’s easy to keep track of my meals, plus 8fit gives me suggestions and a full meal plan if I choose. I’ve used it most days, but obviously have to switch things around somedays depending on my schedule, travel, etc. Another feature that I’ve found in the last week (and love) is their recipe book! Seriously they have SO many breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options that it makes it easy to keep on track, but still have a variety.
I honestly haven’t been tracking my weight, though it has that option in the app (for those of you that like to!), I just get too obsessed with the number, so I know for me personally I just have to focus on the little successes. I feel better, a little more confident in my own skin and I can see a change in my energy (which has been the best change). I am excited to continue to see changes and I am starting to feel a little more motivated every time I go to work out. Though — lemme tell y’all, that took several weeks, so if you’re just starting out, know that, that motivation takes a little while to hit 😉
I’ll leave you with a couple more thoughts and tricks on how I’ve made this work for me and how I’ve stayed motivated. One, the warmer weather is definitely making a difference for me, it’s made it easier to stay motivated and get outside. The last fews days one of my favorite things has been to pack Blake up in the stroller and get outside, then track it on my 8Fit app when I get home! Two, set little goals for yourself, this has been fun for me. I’ve set goals for distances in running, specific amounts of push ups and I’ve promised myself rewards when I hit them so I make it really worth it for myself 😉
Have you tried the 8Fit app? If not, DO IT!! I promise it’s game changing and it’s really inexpensive, I just paid for a year in advance it was such a good price!
