I can’t even believe that A Positively Baby Shower, NY is over! I mean, all that planning, all the fun, it’s over now! But as always we have a recap and I am so excited to give you a look into all the details of our New York shower! We hosted this one at a totally different venue than any of our past ones, but it was PERFECT. It was at Gotham Comedy Club, hosted with Babyganics and the most amazing sponsors. We had Gugu Guru as our co-host, Fawn Design as our table sponsor, Fresh Wave who made our swag bags happen and Quick Zip as our lunch sponsor. They all made it happen and it was seriously better than I could have imagined because let me tell you — trying to throw an event for 75 Mamas and their plus ones half way across the country ain’t easy. It worked just perfectly though.

Let’s talk all the details now because y’all they were so good!

HOSTS

Babyganics and Gugu Guru were our host and co-host for the shower and they both went above and beyond. Every person went home with a giant tote full full of the Babyganics necessities and every Mama left with a starter kit! We played a fun Gugu Guru Bingo game to show off a little about them and it was perfect. Babyganics makes products that help care for our babe and clean the exciting world around them while keeping them safe! Gugu Guru is an amazing site that helps you design the PERFECT registry (and I mean, like it asks you a series of questions to get right on point)!

INVITES

A huge shout out to Minted because they made our invitations possible and they were absolutely STUNNING. Every, single, Mama attending received one of these to hold onto, keep and remember a fun day!

TABLES

The tables were seriously GORGEOUS. They were small and intimate with 4-6 seats per table. Fawn Design was our table sponsor and we catered it to look in a style that we thought was fitting to Fawn Design. For those not familiar, Fawn Design makes the most gorgeous (and a top fav of mine) diaper bag. Each Mama got a gorgeous tassel keychain from Fawn and a stunning menu that went over the shower. Also included on the table were fun character’s within the flowers from Babyganics and “Gugu Guru Bingo”.  A huge thanks to Fawn Design though because Jenny lady (the Mama behind the brand) — you made these tables possible!

LUNCH

We had lunch catered by the wonderful staff at our venue, Gotham Comedy Club! We had tea sandwiches, fruit, cheese and yummy desserts! Our lunch was sponsored and possible because of Quick Zip sheets, the cutest shop that makes Mamas life easier with sheets that zip right on and go around the entire mattress, helping decrease the chance of the sheet popping off and getting in your babe’s face. It’s all we use for Blake now and we’re hooked!

A huge shout out to Fresh Wave for makin’ our swag bags absolutely incredible and to Clevermade for the best (and reusable) snap baskets as the actual bag! Seriously, it’s a snap basket that folds flat and I use it all the time for laundry. Fresh Wave included their gel room fresheners which are my FAVORITE. For those not familiar, Fresh Wave makes odor removing products that are natural and super effective. I have one in our kitchen, pantry and bedrooms. I love them so much — like can’t say enough about them. They keep our house smellin’ fresh (even when I don’t have time to clean). They also made all of our swag possible and gave these Mamas the opportunity to leave with tons of wants and must haves to get their journey of Motherhood started.
