Most days I don’t have a ton of time to spend on skincare, so I generally do a quick easy routine, cloths, moisturize, done. BUT I have been really trying to take care of my skin better than I used to, as y’all know because well I’ve been talking about it. So I have been trying different skincare products, finding a mix of things that work well for me, my busy life and my skin. It’s been a lot of trial and error and honestly, it probably wasn’t a smart idea to start this whole process you know..the week I filmed for Good Things Utah and have Momday Conf, but live and learn I guess? 😉
Well, everyday I do my “quick” nightly routine, you know the 2 minute thing before bed where I am rushing because it’s 1AM, I’m exhausted and I need to friggin’ sleep. But about once a week I take a good 20-30 minutes and have a little pamper session, if you will. I’ve been using Tula products during this and generally a good hair mask too while I’m at it because well, might as well knock it out in one. Usually my pamper sessions happen the same day I shower (feel free to judge me, ha!) but you know – busy Mom life, you’ve gotta knock things out when you can. A few of the products I have found to love using are these:
- Revitalizing Eye Cream – this has been really good for the bags under my eyes and honestly, I try to use it as often as I can, not just during my “pamper sessions”, but it’s great. It’s really reduced the darkness from under my tired eyes and smoothed out the little bumps I get there. Tell me I’m not the only one who gets those stupid little bumps. It has probiotic technology and it’s sensitive — which I need because for whatever reason, around my eyes is SO sensitive.
- Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum – Okay, so I use this one everyday before I put make up on. Dani actually got me totally hooked on it while we were in New York, thanks girl. It’s a cooling sensation and honestly feels like an instant brightener for me — which I need, again for those dang dark circles and puffiness. It just has a tiny pump on the end and a smooth surface that you gentle rub underneath (and I only use about half a pump for each under eye). Â If you were to only choose one product to buy from them, this is the one I would personally recommend.
- Urban Defense Hydrating Mist – In Idaho…it’s REALLY dry and my skin isn’t a fan of it, it gets red and feels itchy. This has been the only thing I’ve used that has calmed that down, especially during peek dry season and when allergies are high. During my little pamper nights I usually use this and I generally keep it in my purse for a just in case moment.
- Illuminating Serum – This is great for brightness, when I’m feeling a little “blah” it instantly wakes my skin up. It’s the last thing I use during my little pamper night skin routine and it always leaves me feeling well, a little more “put together” if you will.
Now, I know I just filled your brain with all the skincare products, but I hope that helps give you a glimpse of what I’m using and how I use them. I tried to explain each one and what it does for me. Tula carries a lot of awesome products, that combine probiotics and other friendly superfoods to balance and boost the health of your skin. Those are my top favorites listed above, but you can see the rest of their products, here or I’ve linked a few more below! (Also — promo code below).
