Guys, it’s been a few weeks since we’ve had a favorite shop Friday! I’ve been busy this summer with fun summer posts and trying to keep you up to date with life happenings. But it’s almost fall again and I am so excited to kick off the season with a fun favorite shop Friday! For those not familiar, on Fridays I like to share small shops I’ve tried, use and LOVE. I share the ins and outs about the shop itself, why we love it and some fun peeks! So today, I am so excited to share something we use on the daily for Blake each morning!
THE SHOP: The shop is called KidzShake and they’re seriously THE BEST.
THE DEETS: First a back story. Breakfast was really rough for us. Blake woke up and I kid you not — would ask for fruit snacks or popcorn immediately. Obviously those aren’t great breakfast items and it was seriously a struggle. She would boycott breakfast then have a toddler meltdown by 10AM because she was starving but I wasn’t going to give in and give her candy. So I really researched and then Dr. Rach, a mom and Children’s Health Advocate, reached out to me about KidzShake. She sent me a few samples and you guys, honestly the rest is history. No joke — Blake LOVES THEM and eats it every, single, morning for breakfast. In fact I need to order more, we’re getting low. We mix it in with fruits and make a smoothie or some mornings (when I just don’t have time) I throw it in with milk and it’s more of a “drink”.
So now, about KidzShake! Let’s get down to the details of it. It’s a dietary supplement packed with sea- and plant-based vitamins and minerals, organic protein, fiber, probiotics and enzymes. KidzShake gives your kid’s diet a boost and helps fill those nutritional gaps through children’s picky stage (AKA: fruit snacks and popcorn). It doesn’t have any of the nasties found in other kids’ nutritional drinks such as too much sugar, hormone-filled milk ingredients, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives and it tastes really good (I’ve tried it). It’s easy to use in a smoothie or just throw it together with milk and it’s a great breakfast in drink form.
So long story short, Blake loves it. We have tried the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry cream. Since Blake is a girl after my own heart, chocolate is definitely her favorite, but she also LOVES the strawberry cream! Plus I get like 32 breakfasts out of one container and that’s a big win for me. 😉 HA!
Now, run over to their site, here and grab some! I recommend checking out their “Specials” tab to see what deals they have happenin’ now 😉
