I am so excited to share a recap of my most recent “A Positively Baby Shower” with Ergobaby and Fawn Design. It was incredible and I am so excited to share all the details and pictures from the entire event. I also want to say it was the perfect way to end this series. It’s been the most amazing journey to throw these for the last few years, but it’s time to shift my focus a little bit and I can’t wait to share what spin off I have next for this! GUYS it’s going to be good. BUT for now, let’s focus on this because it was honestly perfect, definitely a little stressful leading up to it, but it turned out better than I could have imagined and the Mamas that attended were incredible.

Ergobaby hosted this shower with me and you guys – they hit it out of the park. I kid you not, they are one of the most incredible, selfless, giving companies I have ever worked with. They went above and beyond and made sure these Moms felt special and well taken care of during the entire event AND after. They had a couple amazing ladies there showing how to use their products, get comfortable and answering everyone’s questions as well. They’re super informative and honestly just amazing. So if you don’t have an Ergo product, I can’t express to you enough how amazing they are AND their products and that you should run over and get your hands on a few.

The event was held at Office Party in LA, outside and it was a nice day to be out and I’m so thankful for their donation of their space to spoil these deserving Mamas. Fawn Design returned again (because Jenny is incredible and honestly one of my biggest supporters) and sponsored our tables for the event, making them absolutely perfect, not to mention completely spoiling each Mom with a little surprise at their seat – hint, hint: they each got their very own Fawn Design diaper clutch!

 

For lunch we were lucky enough to team up with Olive Garden and not only serve friggin’ DELICIOUS pasta and breadsticks, but dessert too! I kid you not, the people that helped pull this thing together are what made this shower even more perfect and Olive Garden‘s team was right there at the top of the list. Their team stayed the entire time, served each Mama their own plate and were the nicest. In a world filled with a lot of hardship and scary, it was the best feeling to see such an amazing company and giving employees help make these Moms feel especially lifted that day. Not to mention — all the breadsticks, y’all know what I’m saying right? We literally chowed down on breadsticks for days afterwards and I wasn’t even mad.

At every shower, we play a round of a couple of different games and with games obviously come PRIZES. This time we played some fun games, one where they guessed different book titles from emojis and another round of “What’s in your Purse?”, then the winners walked away with prizes like these:

Now..the giveaways – oh my gosh the giveaways. We went big and…not only did we have all the giveaway below BUT GET THIS. After we did swag, giveaways and games and you know, ate all the delicious Olive Garden we did something extra special at this shower and we had Erica Chidi Cohen from This Is Loom speak to all the Mamas and answer questions about pregnancy, postpartum and everything in between. It was actually, selfishly really good for me to hear too. Erica knows her stuff and she has a book that just came out, called “Nurture: A Modern Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, Early Motherhood – and Trusting Yourself and Your Body” and I am so excited to read it.

Now, before I wrap this up I just have to say thank you to every, single, person who helped pulled this off, who donated product, their time, their energy, everything. Thank you to our beautiful photographers who came and donated their time to shoot and make sure these Mamas got beautiful images, both Em Taylor Photo and Da Photoz — I mean LOOK AT THOSE IMAGES. And again, thank you to Ergo Baby and Fawn Design because I mean it, they believed in me and this little dream I had to throw this incredible shower in LA and without them it wouldn’t have been possible.
