I can’t believe that it’s already almost Halloween. I swear that summer just started and we are still planning Blake’s second birthday. Yet somehow that’s all already happened, I have a two and a half year old and holy cow time is seriously FLYING. I remember as a kid people telling me to just enjoy things that before you know it you’re going to be all grown up. Yeah..I’m there and now that I have a baby of my own I just REALLY want time to slow the heck down.
BUT since Halloween is here, we’re diving in full force and obviously soaking it all in if you couldn’t tell by our 31 days of #BlakeXDoc happenin’ over on instagram, that I figured it’s about time I get a post up on our favorite Halloween candy. I mean that’s really what this holiday is about right? 😉 Eating our weight in candy? Eh, no? Whoops, missed the memo I guess!
Actually, on a serious note, we found a company that we just FELL IN LOVE with a few months ago and I wrote a post about them, here. They’re called YumEarth and they honestly make the best organic treats I have very tasted. No joke, to quote my Mother (who is not afraid to tell it how it is, love you Mom ;)) she said “Can we just keep these for ourselves and not hand them out for Halloween?” – let’s be honest, that might very well be what happens. Ain’t no shame in my game people.
They make just about all the treats, candy, gummy bears, licorice, fruit snacks, all the things. You can see their full selection, here. My all time favorite though is their lollipops, Blake’s too and no joke we have at least one a day. Their fruit snacks are also REALLY good. Basically, buy all the things. BUT they have limited edition Halloween candies right now and they’re the cutest and in my opinion, best thing to be handin’ out for all those cute little trick or treaters! They have Halloween themed lollipops, Bat fruit snacks and CANDY CORN. Yes, I said CANDY CORN. No joke, I am that kid that ate the entire bag of candy corn growing up and maybe I’m the adult that still does the same thing. I mean, really this is a no judgement zone, so? What is so incredible about Yum Earth though is they are almost totally organic (like USDA certified), gluten free, non-GMO — like they’re actually not too bad for you. Meaning I don’t even feel bad eating way too much Candy corn or giving my kid a lollipop on the daily.
Also, time out can we look at this little sequence of pictures of Blake pouring the candy into the little trick or treat bucket because I can’t even.
Purchasing wise, I like to grab all mine on Amazon (click here to see their selection) because I’m all about that Amazon Prime life. BUT you can totally grab em’ off their site, here, for those that don’t have Amazon Prime!
Now if you need me, you know where to find Blake and I…eating lollipops and candy corn. It’s been real. Shop some of our favorites here:
