Our kitchen and pantry were the first areas in our house that I finished decorating and unpacking. There’s just something about a clean kitchen that gives you peace and helps you feel like you have your crap together in every other part of your life, even though you very well may not. So basically what I’m telling you is my dreams are made of clean kitchens, it’s fine. You know you’re an adult and you know you’re a Mom when that brings you happiness. Ain’t no shame in my game.
When we designed our kitchen I knew I wanted bright and white, but I also wanted it a little different than the traditional look, with a bohemian twist. I just love that carefree boho vibe with plants and gold accents and so I made sure to include just that in there. We chose to do a more modern cabinet style in white, with a fun lantern tile for the backsplash and I honestly couldn’t love it more. I did my best to keep it simple, but with fun pops by including our Mitzi Pendant lights from Lightology which I LOVE so much and matching gold pops throughout the hardware and faucet from Build.com.
Now I’ll stop talking about it all because honestly, let’s be real – pictures speak way more than me trying to sit here and explain it to you. I’ll link everything below though!
