Our front porch is done and I’m so excited about it! Next summer I want to get a swinging bench out there, but in due time. Plus it’s almost winter here – which means snow and well, I’m not about to be out front swinging in the snow. So it can wait 😉 ANYWAYS – LOOK!!
It looks so great right?! If you didn’t see before, check out the before post, here, along with the whole buying experience with Fypon. This simple project seriously upped our curb-appeal big time and I love it even more than I knew I already would – I always wanted a porch railing out here. Plus, Moakes is the real MVP here because he spent a cold Saturday morning installing it for me and killed it. As I mentioned in our previous post, we went with a Fypon QuickRail system and I’m so glad we did for several reasons.
One, it was pretty easy to install, literally came with everything you needed, instructions and the whole how to. The only thing we had to really do was cut it because it was too long for the area, but even that wasn’t bad. Two, it’s low maintenance because of the materials it’s made out of and well, Mama needed that! I have too much on my plate already, so I don’t have time to be painting/staining a railing and doing touch ups every couple of years. Then third, it resists moisture and insects which was another big win and it gives me more peace of mind about the entire thing!
It looks incredible and I can’t wait to really make this spot our own next summer with new plants, furniture on the porch and well – be sippin’ Starbs while watching my cute girl play out front. For now though, I’ll be enjoying staring at it, planning Christmas decorations on it and enjoying the holidays!
Tell me though – what kind of decor things would you put on this porch!? I love hearing you guys’ ideas!
