I asked last week what questions you guys might have so I could do a fun Q + A blog post and well, it took me longer than expected to get it up, but here I am 😉 So let’s dive right in!

Q: When do you have your first ultrasound?
A: SURPRISE – TOMORROW IS THE DAY. EEEKKKKK

Q: Are you LDS?
A: Yes!

Q: How did you and Marcus meet?
A: Friends set us up! We did a whole podcast on “our story” too, you can listen to it, here.

Q: Why did you have to do IVF?
A: I have PCOS + essentially long story short, don’t ovulate! You can listen to that story on our podcast too, here 😉

Q: When are you due?
A: September 22nd!

Q: When was Blake potty trained?
A: Honestly, my memory is terrible but it was around 2.5 and we tried like 3 times to get it done and she was NOT interested, then randomly woke up one day asking to go and from that day forward has been potty trained. Totally did it on her own timing!

Q: How did you start blogging + get it successful?
A: I’m actually working on a FULLL post on all this because I get asked often and it’s time for an update, so stay tuned in the next couple of weeks!

Q: Do you have siblings?
A: YES! I have two sisters!

Q: How old are you?
A: I’m 28 😉 HA

Q: How long have you and Marcus been married?
A: Almost 7 years! Which I feel like just screamed “I WAS A BABY WHEN I GOT MARRIED” thanks to the previous question, HAHAHAH

Q: What was the hardest part about IVF?
A: The waiting, the emotions and all the hormones, really the entire thing has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do to date.

Q: What would you describe your decor style as?
A: Very modern bohemian, I LOVE plants and rattan/woods, but also loveeeeee white and simplicity.

Q: How expensive is IVF?
A: Welp, I’m an open book 😉 HA but it differs for everyone – it starts around $15K typically and goes up from there, I’d say average is $15-$20K, maybe?

Q: Favorite Netflix show?
A: We just finished the show,”You” andddd are obsessed, can’t wait for the second season!

Q: Favorite place to buy basic tees?
A: I loved Old Navy and Target, but found they weren’t lasting like I wanted them too and then came across J-Crew’s basics and LOVEEEE. Here’s a few of my favs (and they come in lots of color options): 

Q: Will you find out the gender of this baby?
A: YES! I have zero patience for surprises hahaha

Q: What do you wish others understand/knew more about your job as a blogger?
A: Honestly, there’s a lot of things – but I would say the biggest is, how much time and work and effort I’ve put and do put in this daily. I mean, I work 40+ hour weeks, if not more most weeks. It’s non stop (and I wouldn’t change it, I love it) but it is a lot of work, not just pretty pictures and sitting around drinking starbs 😉

Q: Do you have baby names picked out?
A: This is the one area of our marriage that Marcus and I really DO NOT agree on HA, sooo we both have names WE LIKE individually but not so much agreed on.

Q: Best thing to use to soak off gel nail polish at home?
A: I LOVE these clips, best investment, I use cotton balls soaked in the Essie “soak off” solution, clipped onto my nails with these!

Q: Do you love your HIIT trainer?
A: YESSSSS! So much, I use it at least 2-3X a week!! I’ve found it’s cheapest at Costco – it’s the Proform HIIT Trainer.

Q: Favorite lip color?
A: My go to is by far, any of the bare minerals matte lips – but I love the colors “XYZ” and “Weekend”

Q: Favorite Netflix show?
A: We just finished the show,”You” andddd are obsessed, can’t wait for the second season!

Q: Are you hoping for a boy?
A: Honestly I’ll be stoked for either, but I will say I know absolutely nothing about boys, so I would be in for a learning curve with a boy 😉 HA
