So I’m a little jealous, but also not because #pregnant and stoked to be, but Marcus got to do a plant based diet that I have heard such good things about and wanted to try for a while. Have you heard of Prolon? I’ve heard it’s such a great thing to do to kind of kick things into gear and get things rolling and well, now that I’ve seen Marcus do it – I have to agree. I’m also 100% planning on doing it after this babe/breastfeeding.
So what is it? It’s basically a 5 day, natural, plant-based diet. They literally send you everything you need for it in a box, the food, the supplements, everything comes in a box and then inside, there are more boxes labeled for each day. Here let me show you a picture of it:
There, now you have an idea of it 😉 Well when they asked to work with me I was one, stoked, but also a little sad because I’ve wanted to try it forever, but it’s okay because it worked out and Marcus “volunteered” himself to try it and give us a little review so that I could share it with y’all now. Plus I’ve got a really good coupon code for you.
So Marcus’ thoughts, here we go: It wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be, he was a little worried because it does limit you on calories and what you can eat for the day, but he said honestly with everything they provided (since they’ve done the research and everything) that he really didn’t feel “too hungry” and once day one was done he was able to push through without it being crazy. It’s definitely a mindset though, he said that he really went into it with the mindset of, “this is what I’m doing body” and kept busy with work and life and it was day 5 before he knew it. Does it take discipline? He says, ABSOLUTELY.
Results? He said he definitely lost a little weight, 5 pounds to be exact, (which will be different for every person, including women because well, we are different than men ;)) but he felt better. It was basically like he reset his body and put the healthy things and important supplements in it that he needed to get a kick start and help his fitness/health journey that he has already been on.
When you sign up for it, you actually get a free consultation call from a coach so you can ask questions, go over everything and discuss it all. They say it’s a “fasting” diet but with food and a lot safer than doing a water fast because you’re not breaking down muscle or tissue. Plus the fact that they literally send you everything is awesome, so you don’t have to worry about cooking, buying, etc.
A typical day from what he said and I saw including meals, snacks and then the proper supplements, drinks and instructions on everything, including how much water you should be drinking and everything.
Anyways, so code for you guys – you can grab 10% off with the code “OAKES” or “OAKESSUB” (for subscriptions) and you can shop, right here. The box is $249, which is essentially the same as spending $50/day on food yet with ProLon you get that and the research and studies that go with it!
I’m excited to try it in the future and Marcus actually wants to do it again in a couple of months so we are gonna buy another box.
