Having gone through IVF, I really put my body through the ringer, especially in the hormone department. Then I got pregnant and well the nausea was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. By the time we somewhat figured out how to get that under control, I was seriously so exhausted. I could barely get myself off of the couch most days and honestly, the thought of taking a prenatal just made me want to throw up. You know, the whole gag reflex thing, swallowing a pill while already nauseas, nope. So I pulled out this prenatal drink mix that I had been sent by PREMAMA to try. Not going to lie, at this point I was desperate and didn’t have super high hopes for it. I poured it into gatorade (since that’s about all I was living on those days, that and sprite), stirred it up and took a sip. Guys – the gatorade didn’t taste any different. HA – You know what I’m talking about though, you just automatically assume it’s going to have a weird taste or texture, but nope, nothing.
From that day forward I started trying the rest of their products, I mean, that one rocked so why not? I continued with the Prenatal Drink mix on the days I was really sick and then took their capsules (WHICH ARE MINTY) on the days I was good with a pill. It was a good balance and both of them had the vitamins, including Iron + DHA that I needed for my body and growing this babe.
So long story short, I got you guys a code because their products have been such a good thing for me and I know there are other Mamas out there who are facing the same thing or just need a good prenatal recommendation.
THE CODE IS “POSITIVELYOAKES15” FOR 15% OFF. Click here to shop!
I also wanted to talk about their Energy Boost Drink Mix too because I have tried that and used that as well. It’s been super nice to have on the days where I got little to no sleep and well, still have work and Mom life. I’ve only had it about 6-7 times but you know what I’m talking about – those days where you can literally keep your eyes open, but still have to go on with life? It’s been game changing for those but it’s also still safe for pregnancy, so I’ll link that, here, too.
They also have a lot of other products for pre-pregnancy, trying to conceive, of course pregnancy and then postpartum, so make sure you check it out!
