I promised y’all I would report back on some new skincare products I have been using. I’ve mainly been focusing on things to help with aging and moisture because…almost 30 and things are catchin’ up to me. HA! It was important to me to find something that was clean though, but also effective because as many of you know – we’ve been really working to switch over our lifestyle to cleaner and healthier.
Anyways – so when Beautycounter wanted to work together I was pretty excited. I’ve heard lots of people talk about their products and I’ve been interested in a few, but haven’t tried a ton, just a few things here and there – but not any skincare ones. I went with their Countertime line and I love it because they don’t call it “anti-aging” but “getting better with age” which I thought was clever and well, I agree dang it! 😉 Anyways, so when Beautycounter formulates products they prohibit the use of over 1500 harmful or questionable ingredients – which goes for ALL their products, not just this line. So that alone had my attention.
So the products I went with from their Countertime line; the Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence (AKA: a moisturizer) and then their Antioxidant Soft Cream (AKA: help ‘dem wrinkles, you know – getting better with age ;)). I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Y’all know I’m pretty picky about skincare and I’ve fallen in love with products in the past and just stayed true to those, so introducing new things is scary for me, as silly as it sounds. I just have sensitive skin – so it’s a thing, mkay?
Well I’ve been using both morning and night and have definitely seen some changes, especially in just the brightness and smoothness of my face/neck area. I think what I love so much about the moisturizer is it has a silky feeling and you press it into your face rather than rubbing it on. It takes a little bit longer to dry, but once it does my skin immediately feels silky soft. So I highly recommend both, but if not both – the Hydrating Essence Boost for sure!
I’ll link both here for you:
Happy skincare y’all. 😉
