Well guys, it’s almost back to school season, which seemed kind of fitting for this post because sandwiches, lunches + I don’t even really know, but we’re going with it. Mainly – it’s just an excuse to share this recipe with y’all. If you’ve been following me over on Instagram stories, then you’re aware that well, grilled cheese the last few weeks has been MY CRAVING of choice. No joke, like eating 2 a day, most at night at like 10:30PM because when you’re pregnant, time just doesn’t matter.
So let me just go ahead and share the recipe with you because, it’s game changing and you’re about to have your mind blown. 😉 Best part – Blake loves it too!
Ingredients Needed:
● Sargento® Colby-Jack (or Mild Cheddar) cheese
● Sliced Turkey
● Butter
● Sourdough Bread
● Avocados
● Tomatoes (optional + we typically do without for Blake’s)
● Everything Seasoning
Recipe:
This is the really hard part so pay attention 😉
Butter one side of each piece of sourdough bread, load it up with all the ingredients and place on a pan to cook on the stovetop.
OR
If you’re really fancy and you have a toaster oven, make the sandwich completely (but without the butter) and cook it in your toaster oven for about 4 minutes at 400 degrees. This is actually the way I prefer to make it because it’s less messy and a lot quicker without needing all of my attention. 😉
Now, if you ask Blake’s favorite way to eat Sargento® cheese, it would be by itself. Haha! Literally though, she’s a girl after my own heart and we’ve been eating Sargento® cheese slices (Colby-Jack to be exact) out of the bag for years. It’s just where it’s at, but I guess sometimes that’s not “always” acceptable and lunchtime requires a little more – so the Everything Grilled Cheese more than makes up for that because it’s absolutely delicious!
Why Sargento?
For one, it’s a real, natural cheese (not process cheese) + DELICIOUS. Two, I can grab it at my usual grocery store which is just convenient for me to get a great tasting cheese at a store I already grab the rest of my groceries. IT TASTES DELICIOUS ON GRILLED CHEESE, did I say that enough? 😉 And finally the brand and company itself is awesome. Happy Grilled Cheese Making!
