Y’all we had the most fun Friendsgiving ever a couple of weeks ago! So naturally I’m here to recap it quickly for you now. Me and my girl Megan threw it together and teamed up with Albertsons on the catering (thanks ;)). We wanted it to just be a night where a bunch of us Moms could come together, meet new friends and just well, not have kids hanging on our arms. 😉 You know, converse and chat with real, live, adults. So we went big, we rented out a local studio that we found which was just perfect and adorable, see pictures. It’s called Blush Creek Studio, linking them, here. It was perfect, we got really lucky with them because they also have a rental business which meant, we could rent all the furniture we wanted too with the studio fee. HOLLA. Hence, the beautiful set up and decor – that’s all them, I can’t take any credit whatsoever for any of it. They also set up The Proper Privvy to be there as well which is well, the most luxurious of luxurious outside bathrooms.
Anyways, not going to lie – I was a little nervous about the entire thing, just because we were Inviting friends from all different circles and told everyone to bring a friend if they wanted, etc. We really just wanted everyone to meet new people because I feel like we can all use an extra Mom friend. But well, nerves aside it ended up going really well. The food was incredible, we did pulled pork, Chicken Alfredo, LOTS of bread options, salads and desserts. We used Albertsons Market Street for it all and they made the whole process seamless with their catering department – can’t recommend it enough. In fact, their pricing is affordable too, so note this people! I didn’t even realize they had catering until this and now I’m glad I know. They also killed it in the dessert department, like cookies on cookies on brownies on cakes on pies on all the delicious sweet, sweet desserts you can think of. Literally, I know I didn’t go home hungry and I doubt anyone else did either. My family and Megan’s also scored a whole lot of leftovers as well…..soo that was a win.
ANYWAYS, let me show you pictures and how it all went down. I included a few above and some food peeks, but here are the rest of them!
