Y’all I am about to blow your mind in the hair world with some legit new products on the market. Are you ready for this? The brand Waterl<ss started with a team of scientists who wanted to improve the “non-wash day” and well, you Moms know exactly what I’m talking about when I say that. In fact, it’s more of “non wash” DAYS. Am I right? 😉 My point is these products were basically made for us as far as I’m concerned because well, we deserve good hair too dang it. Even if we are freaking tired and on day 5 of not washing our hair because, well kids.
While they were in the trial phase of creating these products, they had a really neat opportunity to try them out in a real-life situation in Cape Town, South Africa. It’s pretty cool.
So in January of 2018, the city announced it was going to run out of water in about 3 months for their city of 4 million people. They needed products to help, to help stretch wash days + to keep things afloat – cue Waterl<ss – they provided the people of Cape Town with an option when they had no choice but to not wash their hair. Now isn’t that incredible?
The entire lineup that Waterl<ss has created is designed to work on a variety of hair types to help clean, condition and well help your hair smell good. I got to try the Dry Shampoo Foam, Dry conditioner and the Fragrance Mist in rose & peach. And y’all I was seriously impressed by each of them. But you know what I love the most – the foam dry shampoo (which I am giving a tutorial on insta-stories today). I was a little skeptical of it because y’all know I am a hair snob and well, things have to meet my expectations in the area and it was a foam so it threw me off. I’m here to tell you – it’s legit and removed all the oil and build up almost instantaneously and left my day 4 hair looking great. It dries fast and I think everyone needs it. I also have been keeping the fragrance in my car for after workouts and that’s been awesome as well!
Anyways, I am going to link to their site, here. That way you can check everything out. If you’re new here or don’t know my hair type, I have fine, naturally curly hair – so keep that in mind with the products I tried and used. However, I think they would work great on straight or curly!
