Mkay, let’s talk about a breast pump that I recently got and well, am obsessed with. It’s called Elvie and y’all it’s legit. They’re basically like little cups you put into your bra and they pump while you’re doing whatever – HANDS FREE. Meaning, there’s not a cord, they’re pretty dang quiet, they’re discreet and I’m hooked. In fact, I haven’t used my previous pump since getting these just because they are NOT a hassle to plug in and set up and yata yata ya.
I literally throw them on, turn them on and they’re pumping away. Which has been SO nice since we are getting ready for our Disney trip (WHICH IS SO SOON) and I need ALL THE MILK PUMPED. Ya here? In fact, I’m pumping right now while I write this, which is pretty incredible if you ask me, because I don’t need both hands to hold them or a specific bra to hold them in place.
So let’s talk more in detail, I also shared a look at them and everything on my stories so you can run over to Instagram and check that out too. BUT, basically they have an app that tracks everything for you and you can even control the pump from your phone which is super convenient rather than having to try and pull it out, leak milk everywhere and adjust settings. The thing I was most worried about was the suction because honestly I was like – this is little, is the suction going to be as good? Welp, it is. Seriously – haven’t had a problem there at all. It comes with two different breast shields so that you’re able to get your right size.
Let me see, what else should I tell you about this… OH the process of pouring into bags or storage or whatever you’re doing is EASY – you just push a button and the bottom container comes off, which also makes cleaning pretty easy as well because it’s reusable and there aren’t bags involved. There are five parts to take off to clean and all that but after one time of reading how to, I’m able to put it all back together in just a few seconds. And everything is pretty small – so I am not storing this huge thing plus all the parts to it. No joke, I put these in my kitchen drawer that holds our baggies.
Charging wise – it’s last several pumps so far before I’ve had to charge it and typically I’ll just throw it on the charger when I go to bed, once I notice it’s getting low.
ANYWAYS – so you can get this on their site and at Target, online or in store. Just click the link below of “get shoppin” and it’ll automatically give you the discount! I think that’s all though, if you have more questions DM me on insta or drop em’ in the comments below!
