The holidays are here y’all. Do you feel it? I mean even if we aren’t doing big gatherings and travel and whatever else this year… I still feel overwhelmed, exhausted and stretched thin on all ends. Not just me right? So I figured I would come at you today with three must have things for this holiday to hopefully keep your stress somewhat down.
So I am just going to dive in because we don’t have time for nonsense. 😉
- HelloFresh. I’ve said it before, I am saying it again. GET ON IT. If you haven’t tried it before, here’s a deal for you. Click here to get $80 off across your first 5 boxes with HelloFresh! THAT’S A GOOD DEAL. It’s a subscription meal company that literally sends you dinner, ready to cook, directly to your door. You choose the meals before they ship from their wide variety of meals and then they come directly to you with instructions and every, single, thing you need to make it. Let’s just be honest, this is a HUGE de-stresser in itself. I could just leave it here. BUT I promised three.
- Shop early. In past years I am the person who finishes Christmas shopping around well, December 23rd….but not this year. I’m already done. Literally. Just get it done. That way you have more time to spend with your people and less time to worry about a to do list. Then you can start wrapping early. Weird fact about me though, I LOVE wrapping presents…
- Let go of the pressure. Not everything has to be perfect. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s to let go of the things that just don’t matter. Ya feel? Your kids don’t need 78593 things, your house doesn’t need to be perfect and you don’t need to deliver treats to everyone in your close friend group. Let go of those things, especially if they just stress you out. If you enjoy it, have at it. BUT pick and choose and choose the things that make you happy and lose the rest of that pressure.
There you have it. My two cents and now I need to take all of my own advice and let go of the rest. Again, don’t forget to take advantage of the HelloFresh deal and Happy Holidays y’all!
