Y’all know I’m a huge Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book fan. We use both often and have relied on both in the past for the purchase of our cars. So I thought it would be fun to put together a post of three important features you can find on either KBB.com or Autotrader and why they’re so great. 

ONE: TOOLS THAT HELP YOU PREP TO BUY 

This tool is a game changer when you’re researching or in the market to purchase your next vehicle. If you didn’t know, KBB.com is the #1 most-used 3rd party website to research and shop for cars and they make it so easy. With their many tools available you can easily do things like grab the value of your current vehicle for trade-in purposes, with an Instant Cash Offer or research the best cars by body type if you’re not sure where to start! Something we loved and took advantage of when we bought Marcus’ truck (because we knew exactly what we wanted) was researching the model/make we wanted and seeing what was available by price and zip code nearby! Honestly, they have a tool for just about every step in the car buying and selling process.

TWO: MY WALLET ON AUTOTRADER

This tool is fantastic for learning exactly what you can afford and what your payment would be. You’re able to input all the information you have such as trade in, down payment, credit, etc. and they’ll give you a customized quote on what things could look like for you. This way you can plan, budget and be ahead of the game for exactly what you can afford. For us, we love to go into a  dealership with a plan and budget. This way we can stick to what we feel comfortable with and feel good about the transaction!

THREE: AT HOME SERVICES ON AUTOTRADER

Honestly, this might be my favorite set of tools they have available and I have a feeling it might be yours too!  Their At Home Services are incredible because you can do things like, well, BUY A CAR FROM HOME through participating dealers. When it comes to purchasing a car from home, they make the process so smooth. They have millions of cars available to choose from and include things like an at home video walkthrough, at home test drives, at home delivery and at home paperwork. It’s pretty incredible!
